THE HISTORY OF HENNA

Applying henna comes from a tradition that dates back many centuries as a form of therapy and relaxation. Henna's natural characteristics provide a cooling sensation with strong herbal aromatics that often result in a calming state of mind, sometimes even lowering blood pressure. Before henna was transferred into a cone for ease of application, it was applied using natural elements such as twigs and leaves. Often it was applied to the hands and feet of a bride to calm her nerves before her big wedding day. While the traditional use of henna still exists today, it's evolved into a art form that can be admired on any day you decide to make special.
